The Team Sports Department is one of three branches of the College of Physical Education at the University of Baghdad/Al-Jadriya. Professor Dr. Fares Sami Youssef was assigned to head the branch. The branch is responsible for teaching applied subjects (theoretical and practical) for team games, including (football, handball, basketball, Volleyball, foot pentathlon) An elite group of qualified professors with advanced degrees (PhD and Master’s), as well as sports coaches with a bachelor’s degree in physical education who teach applied subjects as teaching assistants
