The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, in the presence of Dean Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, hosted training sessions for the Iraq Legends football team alongside international referee assessments as part of its efforts to support and develop football and specialized sporting expertise.
The events brought together several former members of the Iraq Legends team and a group of referees participating in the international assessments. The training sessions and examinations were conducted in a well-organized environment, reflecting the college’s commitment to providing suitable facilities for sporting activities.
The initiative forms part of the college’s efforts to serve the sporting community, support athletic activities, and make its facilities available for events that contribute to developing sporting and refereeing talents and expertise.
The college administration emphasized that hosting the Iraq Legends training sessions and international referee assessments represents an important addition to its sporting activities and demonstrates its commitment to cooperation with sports institutions, federations, and organizations to contribute to the advancement of Iraqi sport.
