Prof. Dr. Faris Sami Yusuf Malik, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in a workshop organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, entitled “Office Exercises and Healthy Nutrition for Enhancing Workplace Performance.” The workshop was attended by several faculty and staff members.
During the workshop, Prof. Dr. Faris Sami Yusuf Malik discussed the importance of office exercises in reducing the negative effects of prolonged sitting, as well as the role of healthy nutrition in improving physical fitness, energy, and productivity in the workplace. He emphasized that adopting a healthy lifestyle contributes to better work performance and an improved quality of life.
The participation reflects the University of Baghdad’s efforts to strengthen scientific cooperation among its colleges, raise health awareness, and promote a culture of physical activity among university staff.
