The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad discussed a Master’s thesis by student Karrar Ahmed Mutashir titled: “The Effectiveness of Educational Exercises Using Various Tools in Visual Scanning Related to Complex Skill Performance Among Under-14 Football Players.”
The study aimed to identify the level of visual scanning skills associated with complex skill performance and assess the level of basic football skills, including ball control, passing, and dribbling, before applying the designed exercises. It also sought to develop educational exercises using diverse training tools to improve these skills.
The findings showed that the educational exercises, supported by modern technological devices such as Miracles and remote alert systems, were highly effective in enhancing visual scanning skills and improving complex skill performance by encouraging players to scan the field and make better decisions during play.
