As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its social and humanitarian role, the Higher Committee for Community Service and Volunteer Work at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, carried out a humanitarian initiative to support a Juvenile Rehabilitation Center. The initiative was conducted under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, in cooperation with a number of faculty members and staff on March 17, 2026.
This initiative reflects the committee’s commitment to supporting juveniles and providing a suitable environment that contributes to developing their abilities and enhancing their daily activities. Such efforts play an important role in improving their psychological and social well-being.
The collaborative efforts resulted in effectively meeting several needs of the rehabilitation center, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility and cooperation.
