In a remarkable sporting achievement, faculty members Mazin Hussein and Dr. Fatima Rahim from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences participated in the West Asian Para Games in Muscat, Oman, as part of the technical staff of the Iraqi national athletics team.
Serving as national team coaches, they applied their academic knowledge and practical expertise to prepare and support the athletes, contributing significantly to the team’s performance throughout the competition. Their guidance and training helped optimize the athletes’ skills and readiness for high-level competition.
