The participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Wissam N. Sliwa, representative of the Iraqi Football Federation, as (The Technical Director) in the fourth Asian Football Confederation Conference for learning and Improving Coaches, that held in Malaysia, with the participation of all the technical and learning director in the continent and with the presence of the development officials and experts in the International Federation of Football.
we confirmed through our intervention in the conference, that, Iraq will be fully prepared at the beginning of 2024, after entering the Asian Training Courses Program, to host A & PRO Asian training courses. By consulting foreign experts to lead these courses, modernize and develop curricula, and develop lecturers and coaches. And, we added: that, a few days ago, training licenses renewal document has been issued, in addition to the entry instructions and controls for training courses, through a system that preserves the status of the training certificate and Iraqi trainer, according to the approved procedures for the International and Asian Federations.
we mentioned : Iraq works seriously for the technical and administrative developing through a unified long term strategy, and Iraq will witness two important events, namely (signing with the Spanish La Liga organization and hosting the West Asian Championship under 23 years), and this, indicates the efforts of executive office in the Iraqi Federation by Its president, Adnan Darjal, who is seeking to establish a professional league , besides develop talents and administrative work to raise Iraq in the ranks of developed countries.
Under the directions of the President of the Iraqi Football Federation Mr. Adnan Darjal, and with the aim of developing relationships , and along the conference ,we met the development officials in the International Federation of Football namely (Dr. Belhassan Maloush, the technical director of FIFA for the West Asia region, and Mr. Branko Borojevic ,the director of developing and learning coaches In FIFA).Invitations has been extended to them to visit Iraq and learn more about all the future visions and work strategy, as well as hold training workshops for Iraqi trainers and lecturers by providing them with the best lecturers in the world, and the two officials expressed their willingness to visit Iraq, especially after what they witnessed of the wonderful organization of the Gulf Cup in Basra.
