In the presence of the College Dean, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the faculty team of the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences triumphed over the faculty team of the College of Arts with a 5-1 victory in the University of Baghdad Ramadan Futsal Championship for professors. Despite trailing by a goal early in the match and the absence of Dr. Wissam Najeeb Sliwah, one of the team’s key players, the faculty team made an impressive comeback in the second half under the strategic leadership of their coach, Dr. Saleh Radi. The goals were scored by Dr. Ali Saad (2), Lecturer Laith Farhan (1), Lecturer Youssef Kazem (1), and Dr. Khalil Sattar, who sealed the match with a spectacular goal, considered one of the tournament’s best.
This event promotes physical activity, teamwork, and social engagement among faculty members, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring good health and well-being.
