On Sunday, November 10, 2024, lecturer Shireen Abdul-Munim Al-Sayegh from the Department of Theoretical Sciences presented a lecture titled “Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Translation” as part of International Translation Day activities held at the Bayt Al-Hikma cultural center. The lecture covered the basics of how artificial intelligence operates in the fields of science and knowledge, especially in relation to translation and its various types across scientific, literary, and political contexts. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Dr. Emad Hashim, along with a group of Iraqi translators.
