The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences represents a milestone in university education through its continuous interaction with the community in its various sectors, both governmental and private. Since its establishment, the college has been keen to involve its students in sports and academic institutions, whether through scientific trips or extracurricular activities, to provide them with a comprehensive vision of their future role in serving the community. The faculty of the college has contributed to supporting this community interaction by participating in organizing scientific conferences and exhibitions, in addition to cooperating with governmental bodies such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Faculty members have also contributed to local and international scientific and advisory

The Grand Meeting Hall in the College
The Grand Meeting Hall in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Baghdad is the largest meeting hall equipped and furnished with the best furniture, electrical and technical devices, and is located next to the Deanship building. This hall witnessed local, Arab and international meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences, and received senior political, parliamentary and academic figures. It was a platform for student celebrations and joys. Due to the scientific status of this hall and to befit the level and status of the mother college of the colleges of physical education in Iraq, the Deanship of the College began comprehensive maintenance operations for it in a manner that is consistent with its importance, noting that this campaign is nearing its end. It is worth noting that the rehabilitation included painting and installing furniture, curtains and lighting, replacing windows and other basics
Guest House in the College
The presence of a guest house and lounge in the college reflects the university’s interest in providing a comfortable and suitable environment for foreign students and visitors. The house is a place of rest, equipped with facilities such as reception, sleeping rooms, comfortable seats, dining areas and health services. Providing such places can contribute to enhancing social interaction among foreign students and strengthening the university spirit. It also enhances communication and interaction among members of the university community
Green yards, playgrounds and gardens
The college is characterized by the presence of large green gardens that enhance the atmosphere of the campus and add an aesthetic and natural touch to the university environment. These gardens are open spaces dedicated to plants, flowers and trees, creating a calm and comfortable environment for students and staff. These gardens can be a place for rest and relaxation, where individuals can enjoy the fresh air and nature.
Parking spaces
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences provides a designated area within the college for parking. Parking lots are usually organized to provide a convenient place for students and staff who use cars to reach the college. These areas are designed to facilitate the process of parking in a safe and organized manner, and there are signboards or directional signs to direct drivers to the available spaces.
