Prof. Dr. Salah Wahab Shaker, a faculty member in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, was chosen as the head of the Scientific Committee for Sports Management in the Iraqi Sports and Scientific Association within the official formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This choice came for his rich academic autobiography including variety of scientific activities as research, international conferences and seminars, authorship of books specialized in sports management, as well as being an expert for a number of scientific committees and sports federations.
