The Iraqi universities’ athletics championship started on the track and field of physical education and sport Sciences College for the year 2022 – 2023. The championship is organized by supervision and scientific evaluation department/students activity department and under the patronage of the minster of higher education and scientific research Dr. Naeem Yaser Al Aboodi and the supervision of the president of Baghdad University Dr. Moneer Hameed Al Sadi. More than 60 Iraqi universities participated in this championship that included many events; the first day include morning and evening events of long jumping, running races, hammer throwing, javelin, etc. our college participated in the championship that was concluded with awarding the three top winning teams for both female and male athletic teams.
