The eighth and final part of the PRO coaching course concluded on Friday, at the halls and fields of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad. The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf; the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Captain Adnan Dirjal; the President of Al-Kahraba Sports Club, Mr. Ali Al-Asadi; and the Director of Training and Development at the Iraqi Football Association, Dr. Wisam Najeeb Asliwah.
The President of the Football Association handed out certificates to the 27 participating lecturers and coaches. The course was supervised by Belgian lecturers Kris Van Der and Sven Marsel, along with lecturer Khaled Karama. Coaches who complete this course are now qualified to train top teams and national teams.
The course also included a review of the training and development file for coaches in training courses across all categories and the programs associated with them. Finally, the college’s facilities, fields, and guesthouse were inspected for hosting training camps for our national teams.
