Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, attended the men’s final of the Iraq Rugby Championship. The event took place at the University of Baghdad stadium and was attended by the President of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, Dr. Aqeel Muften, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Sports Affairs, Dr. Ayad Bunyan, and the President of the Iraqi Rugby Federation, Dr. Fareeq Hazza. The final match was between the teams of Baghdad and Salah al-Deen, with Baghdad winning 21-7.
