At the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, a doctoral dissertation was discussed by the student Ali Basheer Rasheed under the title “Sports Marketing Strategy and Organizational Change and Their Relationship with the Competitive Advantage of Institutional Clubs in Iraq.” The specialty of the dissertation is in Sports Management/ Testing and Measurement. Additionally, there is the relative modernity of the sports marketing and organizational change processes to create a competitive advantage for sports clubs. Furthermore, there is the growing interest of sponsoring entities and the desire to finance sports clubs through systems and programs designed to keep pace with global developments in this lucrative field. Moreover, there is the desire of sports clubs to address sports marketing issues and their relationship with beneficiaries and funding entities, as well as the nature of change, to move towards excellence and competition in order to achieve good attraction for their followers. This attracts the attention of responsible entities to take a comprehensive look at this subject in the context of sports competition and the importance of marketing programs and administrative practice from a modern and contemporary perspective in service of the development of institutional clubs.
