The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, in the presence of the President of Baghdad University, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, along with Assis. Prof. Omar Faleh Hassan, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, hosted a workshop titled “Baghdad University Digital Repository: Procedures and Management”. The workshop, organized by the Website Department in collaboration with the Electronic Computing Center, took place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. It was presented by Dr. Mohammad Jaafar, Director of the Electronic Computing Center, and Mr. Furat Nidal Tawfeeq, Head of the Website Department. During the workshop, statistics related to the digital repository were presented, including the number of registered professors and uploaded research papers. Additionally, an overview of the ranking of colleges in the digital repository was provided, and our college ranked fourth in terms of the number of uploaded research papers, following the colleges of Ibn Al-Haitham, Engineering, and Sciences. The workshop concluded with addressing various queries from the attendees.
