In attendance were the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalf, members of the College Council, and faculty members.
The study aimed to refine cross-training exercises to enhance achievement and specific physical abilities of muscles involved in the strongman competitions for applicants weighing 100-105 kg. The researcher employed an experimental approach suitable for the research problem, choosing deliberately a sample of 20 players from the Iraqi national team applicants for the strongman category. From this group, 12 players representing 60% of the original population, was selected intentionally based on weight ranging between 100-105 kg. Eight players were excluded due to weight heterogeneity. The research then proceeded with the selection of study variables through consultation with experts in the field of training and physiology.
