On Sunday, October 29, 2024, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted a conference to announce the results of the central admission (2023/2024), in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi), the two Undersecretaries for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and a number of university rectors, deans and teachers

His Excellency the Minister was received by (Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi), Rector of the University of Baghdad, and (Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf), Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. His Excellency the Minister announced the admission plan and its channels

At the end of the conference, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, congratulated the University of Baghdad and the Iraqi academic family on registering the university in an unprecedented competitive position in the Shanghai classification of subjects
