On Wednesday, October 17, 2023, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences hosted a workshop entitled: (The Academic Reputation in the International Ranking), in the main discussion hall, delivered by Dr. Nader Al-Ibrahim from the Islamic Republic of Iran, an expert in scientific research and university rankings
The workshop was held in the presence of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Marwan Abdel Hamid Ashour, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency, Dr. Omar Falih, as well as the presence of the deans of colleges and institutes and department directors of the Quality assurance in all configurations
Many issues were tackled as the tools for managing the academic reputation in the international rankings, the related aspects of scientific research, and how to improve them
At the end of the workshop, the Dean of the College presented a souvenir to Dr. Nader Al-Ibrahim to express the Deanship’s gratitude for holding this workshop
