In the presence of professor Dr. Sabah Qasem, the dean of the college and Professor Mohammed Abdul Hussein, the assistant dean for scientific affairs the viva of Mohammed Dhia Muhdi was held on Monday 18/9/2023. It consisted of Prof. Dr. Loay Sami Refaat as chairwoman, Asst. prof. Dr. Husein Alaa Mohsen and Asst. Prof. Dr. Laith Mohammed Abdul Rezaq as members and asst. Prof. Dr. Sherzad Mohammed Jaro as supervisor. The study aimed at designing special exercises using Blazepod training device for developing the speed of motor response as well as identifying the effect of these exercises on defensive performance endurance in advance basketball players. The researcher used the experimental method on (12) advance basketball players from Al Adhamia sport club. The subjects were divided into two equal groups; (6) experimental and (6) controlling group and after conducting the tests and collecting the data, the researcher concluded that the special exercises using Blazepod have a great effect on the speed of motor response development and defensive performance endurance in basketball players. Finally, the researcher recommended designing other exercises using Blazepod with more variety and difficulty for developing the speed of motor response and defensive skills for individual, duel and team use. In addition to that, the researcher recommend using Blazepod for individual training of players willing to develop their offensive and defensive skills
