In the presence of professor Dr. Sabah Qasem the dean of the college and a number of professors the viva was held on Tuesday 12/9/2023 to discuss the thesis entitled “The Effect of Fast Learning Style Using Photonics on Reducing Cognitive Load, Activating working Memory and learning Tennis Skills for Students” the study aimed at constructing scales for measuring cognitive load and the working memory in students of physical education and sport sciences college. In addition to that, it aimed at good learning, designing teaching sessions in tennis following fast learning style using photonics and identifying the effect of fast learning using photonics on learning some tennis skills. The researcher used the experimental method on (64) students from the college of physical education and sport sciences for the academic year 2022 – 2023. For scales construction (180) students were selected then photonics were designed on tennis court according to skill learning pathways for each one of the three skills. Teaching sessions were designed following fast learning style and was applied on students during tennis class with two teaching sessions per week for 6 consecutive weeks. The data was collected and treated using SPSS to conclude that cognitive load and working memory scales in tennis are suitable for third year college students as well as the possibility of applying the teaching program proposed by the researcher using photonics during tennis classes. Furthermore, applying fast learning style using photonics during tennis reduces the cognitive level, activates the working memory and improves performance (serve, backhand and forehand). The researcher recommended applying modern styles in skill learning as well as developing the instructors’ knowledge of fast learning using photonics due to their ability to create a rich learning environment compatible to the level of skill learning modernity
