The significance of the study lies in building a physical fitness test to directly measure and evaluate the applicants for the physical fitness test without the intervention of the expert in whole or in part by giving the final score, using an accurate measurement method according to the correct scientific foundations, where the final measurement process of the test is done by using an accurate measuring device which is The electronic timing device, so the researcher decided in her study to build and standardize a test that serves the administrative and teaching staff, as well as students applying to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Iraq, especially fresh and large universities, keeping pace with international universities in the testing process for students’ admission to the colleges of physical education and sports sciences
The researcher used the descriptive design in the survey method. The research sample consisted of (287) students, at a rate of (81.76%) of the total number, and (70) students, i.e. (87.5%) of the total community of students at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences /University of Baghdad for the academic year. (2022-2023) after excluding cases of failure, postponement, teachers, and champions.One of the most important findings is that, the physical fitness test for the applicants for admission to the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, is designed to achieve the purpose for which it was designed and it has been reached to the standard scores and levels for applicants for admission to the College of Physical Education and Sport Science
