The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad discussed a doctoral thesis by Muhannad Sabah Ahmed, entitled \u201cThe Effect of Exercises Using Vision-Control Training Glasses on Developing Selected Motor Abilities and Offensive and Defensive Skills among Basketball Players Under 18 Years of Age.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The study highlights vision-control training glasses as a modern training tool for developing motor abilities and fundamental basketball skills among young players. By restricting the visual field, the glasses encourage players to rely more heavily on kinesthetic awareness, concentration, and attention.<\/h6>\n
To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used an experimental design involving two equivalent groups with pre- and post-tests. The sample was deliberately selected from 12 players of the Air Defense Club\u2019s under-18 basketball team, divided equally into an experimental group and a control group, with six players in each.<\/h6>\n
The researcher concluded that exercises using vision-control training glasses had a clear positive effect on developing motor abilities and offensive and defensive skills among basketball players under 18. The experimental group also outperformed the control group across all investigated variables.<\/h6>\n
