The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad discussed a master\u2019s thesis by Mustafa Mahmoud Hamid, entitled \u201cThe Effectiveness of Teaching Using Play Pedagogy in Learning Selected Basic Offensive Basketball Skills.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The study aimed to examine the effectiveness of using play pedagogy to teach selected basic offensive basketball skills to first-year intermediate school students. It also investigated differences between the pre- and post-tests of the experimental and control groups, as well as differences between the two groups in the post-tests.<\/h6>\n
The researcher concluded that play pedagogy is an effective instructional approach for teaching selected basic offensive basketball skills, as it enhances students\u2019 active participation and motivation.<\/h6>\n
The study recommends adopting play pedagogy in teaching basketball skills and other sports activities, organizing workshops to familiarize physical education teachers with its implementation, and conducting similar studies across different age groups and other sporting skills.<\/h6>\n
