The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad discussed a PhD dissertation by Haider Rashid Ghanem entitled \u201cThe Effect of the Graded Activities Strategy Based on Hierarchical Repetitions on Knowledge Acquisition and the Performance of the Snatch and Clean and Jerk among First-Year Students.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The study aimed to investigate the effect of the graded activities strategy based on hierarchical repetitions on students\u2019 knowledge acquisition and technical performance in the snatch and clean and jerk. It also sought to develop a knowledge acquisition test specifically designed for these two weightlifting techniques.<\/h6>\n
The importance of the study lies in employing graded activities based on hierarchical repetitions as an instructional strategy to improve both theoretical knowledge and technical performance while taking learners\u2019 different abilities and skill levels into consideration.<\/h6>\n
The researcher concluded that the graded activities strategy based on hierarchical repetitions is an effective instructional approach for learning weightlifting skills, contributing to improved knowledge acquisition and enhanced technical performance in the snatch and clean and jerk among first-year students.<\/h6>\n
