The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad discussed a PhD dissertation by the student Ahmed Jassim Abbas titled: \u201cThe Effect of Special Exercises Using Balls of Different Weights and Elastic Bands on Some Cognitive Abilities and Basic Skills in Futsal Players Aged 15\u201316.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The study examined the impact of using balls with varied weights and elastic bands in developing cognitive abilities and fundamental futsal skills among young players. The research highlighted the importance of diversifying training methods beyond the use of standard balls to enhance players\u2019 perceptual and skill-based performance.<\/h6>\n
The researcher aimed to design specialized training exercises using weighted balls and elastic bands and identify their effect on improving essential futsal skills and cognitive abilities.<\/h6>\n
The findings concluded that using varied ball weights while maintaining legal ball size, as well as elastic bands, significantly improved players\u2019 cognitive abilities and technical skills, while combining both methods reduced the time required for skill development.<\/h6>\n
