A Master\u2019s thesis was successfully defended at University of Baghdad, College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, by the student Omar Ibrahim Abdullah, entitled \u201cThe Effect of Interactive Exercises Using the Blazepod Training Device on Developing Some Motor Abilities and Offensive Skills of Youth Basketball Players.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The thesis examined the impact of interactive training exercises designed with a modern training device on enhancing selected motor abilities and offensive basketball skills among youth players. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Fares Sami Yousif Shaba (Chair), Asst. Prof. Saif Ali Mohammed (Member), Dr. Ali Kamal Hussein (Member), Prof. Louay Sami Rifaat (Supervisor), and Asst. Prof. Sherzad Mohammed Jaro (Supervisor).<\/h6>\n
The study highlighted the growing need to adopt innovative training technologies in basketball due to rapid developments in playing styles and performance demands. The researcher aimed to design interactive exercises suitable for youth players and to identify their effects on motor abilities and offensive skills.<\/h6>\n
The findings revealed that interactive exercises significantly improved offensive skills, including chest passing, two-point jump shooting, and lay-up shooting. The results also indicated a clear positive impact on the overall performance level of youth basketball players, emphasizing the effectiveness of integrating modern training devices into youth development programs.<\/h6>\n
