Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the Department of Individual Sports organized the College Boxing Championship as part of its annual plan to support sports activities and develop students\u2019 athletic potential.<\/h6>\n
The championship witnessed wide participation from students across different academic levels and featured strong and competitive bouts in various weight categories. Participants demonstrated notable technical skills, high levels of discipline, and a strong sense of sportsmanship, in the presence of faculty members and students who expressed their encouragement and support.<\/h6>\n
The event aimed to promote a culture of physical activity within the college, discover promising talents in boxing, and reinforce values of fair competition, commitment, and self-discipline among students.<\/h6>\n
At the conclusion of the championship, winners in the first positions were honored with medals and certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts and outstanding performance.<\/h6>\n
This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).<\/h6>\n
