The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad made a significant contribution to achieving an international sporting accomplishment, as the Iraqi national team secured second place worldwide in the Kyokushinkai Karate Championship, with the participation of several leading countries in this sport. This achievement was marked by the student Zainab Ahmed Adday winning second place at the global level.<\/h6>\n
This accomplishment came as a result of the scientific and training efforts provided by the college\u2019s staff members, Dr. Abduljalil Jabbar and Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ammar, who served as coaches of the national team. The achievement reflects the college\u2019s distinguished academic and practical standards in preparing qualified athletes and coaches.<\/h6>\n
The College Deanship praised this honorable achievement, affirming that it is the outcome of continuous support for both the athletic and academic processes, and the college\u2019s commitment to supplying national teams with well-prepared champions and coaches, thereby raising Iraq\u2019s name high in international arenas.<\/h6>\n
This achievement represents a valuable addition to the record of successes attained by the University of Baghdad and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at both the national and international levels, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 5 (Gender Equality).<\/h6>\n
