The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled \u201cHow to Deal with Children in Early Childhood,\u201d delivered by Prof. Mohammed Jawad, Prof. Ghada Moayed, and Asst. Prof. Baidaa Razzaq, with the participation of a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.<\/h6>\n
Aligned Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education, Good Health and Well-Being, Reduced Inequalities.<\/h6>\n
The workshop focused on several key themes that contribute to a deeper understanding of early childhood, including the stages of childhood development and detailed aspects of child growth during this critical period. It also reviewed selected educational and psychological theories that address child development in early childhood.<\/h6>\n
Special emphasis was placed on developing the motor and physiological aspects of children at this stage. The presenters discussed practical methods and strategies for enhancing children\u2019s motor skills, including the use of age-appropriate games and physical activities designed to support healthy movement development.<\/h6>\n
At the conclusion of the workshop, the speakers stressed the importance of early intervention in achieving holistic child development and highlighted the need for effective cooperation between families and educational institutions to provide appropriate support for children during early childhood.<\/h6>\n
