Postgraduate students (Master\u2019s level) at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a field-based practical lecture as part of the requirements of the course Sports Training for Juniors. The lecture was titled \u201cMechanisms of Regulating Training Load and Its Field Implementation through a Training Unit Conducted by Students.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The lecture aimed to familiarize students with the scientific principles of regulating training load and how to apply them practically during training sessions, in addition to developing their skills in designing training units that consider individual differences among junior athletes.<\/h6>\n
The activity included a theoretical presentation delivered by Prof. Haider Faiq Al-Shammaa, who addressed the concept of training load, its types, and measurement methods. This was followed by a practical session in which students implemented a training unit according to specified load criteria, explaining the stages of planning, execution, and evaluation.<\/h6>\n
The Head of the Graduate Studies Division, Prof. Tareq Nizar, praised the students\u2019 efforts and level of engagement, emphasizing that such field-based activities are a fundamental component of preparing students academically and practically in the field of sports training sciences.<\/h6>\n
The activity concluded with brief student presentations highlighting the outcomes of the practical application and approaches to improving training performance based on the principles of training load regulation in junior development programs.<\/h6>\n
