The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Baghdad discussed the PhD dissertation of the student Mohammed Kati\u2018 Mohsen, titled \u201cThe Effect of the Metacognitive Strategy on Positive Thinking, Cognitive Achievement, and the Development of Selected Complex Football Skills among Students.\u201d<\/h6>\n

The significance of the study lies in its focus on modern and diversified teaching approaches, particularly the metacognitive strategy, which provides students with an active role in the learning process. This strategy supports the development of positive thinking, cognitive achievement, and the enhancement of complex football skills through a structured educational program.<\/h6>\n
The researcher aimed to design instructional units based on metacognitive strategy to improve positive thinking, cognitive achievement, and selected complex football skills among students. The study also sought to develop measurement scales for positive thinking and cognitive achievement in football, and to identify the effectiveness of the instructional units in achieving these learning outcomes.<\/h6>\n
This research aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education, through its focus on improving teaching strategies and enhancing students\u2019 learning\u00a0outcomes.<\/h6>\n
