The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at University of Baghdad discussed the master\u2019s thesis of student Najwa Safaa Mahdi, titled: \u201cComparison of the Electrical Activity of Some Upper Limb Muscles and the Technical Performance of Magy\u00e1r and Sivado Skills on the Pommel Horse in Artistic Gymnastics.\u201d<\/h6>\n

<\/h6>\n
The significance of this research lies in analyzing the electrical activity of the working muscles during the performance of Magy\u00e1r and Sivado skills on the pommel horse in artistic gymnastics. The study used an electromyography (EMG) device to identify differences in muscle responses between the right and left limbs, as well as among the muscles themselves, and linked these differences to the level of technical performance as assessed by accredited judges.<\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The researcher concluded that EMG analysis clearly demonstrates the contribution of each muscle to skill execution, and that both the type of skill and the direction of performance directly affect muscle activity. This highlights the necessity of considering these factors when designing training programs.<\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The study recommended the periodic use of EMG techniques to evaluate performance and direct training more scientifically toward strengthening the most active muscles and improving weaker ones. It also emphasized the importance of symmetry exercises to ensure consistent performance and reduce the risk of injuries.<\/h6>\n
