A PhD dissertation was defended at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, by the student Firas Jasib Khalaf, titled:<\/h6>\n
\u201cThe Effect of Weighted Exercises Based on Target Time and Certain Biomechanical Variables on Specific Endurance and the Performance of the 400m Sprint for Athletes Aged Over 20.\u201d<\/h6>\n

The researcher aimed to design a training program using weighted exercises based on target timing and certain kinematic variables for 400m runners aged over 20. He also aimed to identify the impact of such exercises on biomechanical performance and endurance for this group.<\/h6>\n
The experimental approach involved a one-group pre- and post-test design, targeting a purposive sample of five athletes from Maysan province clubs, all over the age of 20.<\/h6>\n
The study concluded that the training methodology had a significant impact on improving biomechanical performance and energy distribution during the race. The special physical abilities (speed endurance, strength endurance, and performance endurance) showed clear development in the post-tests, and the applied exercises effectively enhanced the biomechanical variables in the experimental group.<\/h6>\n
This research supports SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting scientific approaches in athletic training and enhancing physical performance through evidence-based practices.<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n
