The importance of the study stems from the rapid development of basketball and the constant changes in its rules and playing styles, which require referees to develop strong psychological capabilities. The study emphasizes the necessity of preparing third-division referees psychologically and activating counseling programs that can strengthen their ability to handle pressure during games. It also highlights the importance of initiating psychological development at an early age for referees, similar to player development, to ensure a strong foundation in officiating.<\/h6>\n
<\/h6>\n
The researcher concluded that enhancing psychological empowerment significantly improves referees\u2019 performance and the overall quality of officiating. Accordingly, the study recommends incorporating psychological counseling programs into referees\u2019 training plans, starting at early stages, and expanding the implementation of such programs to include referees at all levels to broaden scientific understanding in this area.<\/h6>\n

The study aimed to investigate the effect of a counseling program in developing psychological empowerment by focusing on five key dimensions: effective communication, decision-making, autonomy, self-efficacy, and stress management.<\/h6>\n
