The researcher aimed to study the impact of sports fears on the performance of young goalkeepers under 20 years of age, focusing on the relationship between these fears and basic skills such as shot-stopping, positioning, and reaction speed. The study involved a sample of young goalkeepers from various club teams in Baghdad to ensure a diverse range of experience and performance levels for comprehensive and objective results.<\/p>\n

The research is significant as it deepens the understanding of the psychological aspects affecting goalkeepers\u2019 performance and provides practical recommendations for enhancing training programs through the management of sports fears. The researcher employed statistical analysis to test the hypotheses regarding the influence of sports fears on fundamental skills. The expected outcomes contribute to academic knowledge of the interplay between sports fears and performance, offering a scientific basis for improving the mental preparedness of young goalkeepers. Additionally, the study\u2019s objectives align with key sustainable development elements, such as mental health and disease prevention, ultimately aiming to enhance the overall well-being and performance of these athletes.<\/p>\n
