Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Chair of the Committee of Deans of Physical Education Colleges and Departments in Iraq, delivered a speech on behalf of the committee members at the 8th International Scientific Conference on Sports Science, organized by the University of Basrah under the theme:<\/h6>\n
\u201cSports and Sustainable Development in Light of Artificial Intelligence Perspectives.\u201d<\/h6>\n
The conference took place on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the Oil Cultural Center in Basrah.<\/h6>\n
During his speech, Prof. Khalaf praised the excellent organization, warm hospitality, and generosity of the people of Basrah, wishing success to all participants for their valuable contributions in advancing sports science, physical education, and the role of artificial intelligence in various fields, particularly in sports.<\/h6>\n
On the sidelines of the conference, Prof. Khalaf was honored with a commemorative shield by Prof. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, President of the University of Basrah, in recognition of the Committee of Deans\u2019 significant role in shaping the development of physical education colleges across Iraq.<\/h6>\n
This conference aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting academic research in sports science and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) by exploring the integration of artificial intelligence in sports.<\/h6>\n
