The Iraqi Universities Volleyball Championship concluded on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, with the participation of 17 public and private universities. The final match saw the University of Baghdad\u2019s volleyball team claim the championship title for the third time after defeating the University of Mosul (3-1) in an outstanding performance throughout the tournament. The final match took place at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad, while the University of Anbar secured third place in the competition.<\/h6>\n
The final match and award ceremony were attended by:<\/h6>\n
\u2022 Prof. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Vice President for Scientific Affairs<\/h6>\n
\u2022Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences<\/h6>\n
\u2022Dr. Hassanain Basim, Director of Student Activities at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research<\/h6>\n
\u2022Dr. Ali Abdulhassan, Director of the Office of the President of the University of Baghdad<\/h6>\n
\u2022Dr. Ali Sadiq Diyab, Director of Student Activities at the University of Baghdad<\/h6>\n

The match was highly competitive, with both teams delivering a thrilling performance. The University of Baghdad team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, securing the championship trophy and reinforcing the values of hard work, teamwork, and perseverance as key factors for success.<\/h6>\n

This victory was more than just a title\u2014it was the culmination of the immense efforts of the coaching staff and players. The University of Baghdad\u2019s coaching team included two faculty members from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences:<\/h6>\n
