Dr. Muhannad Talib Al-Abed, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, participated in a scientific symposium at Al-Iraqia University titled \u201cDigital Literacy Among Youth and Empowering Them to Effectively Use Modern Technology,\u201d attended by a distinguished group of academics and students.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
The study highlighted a significant disparity in computer skills among different age groups and identified challenges faced by individuals lacking such skills in integrating into the labor market. It also shed light on the influence of social and economic factors in widening the digital literacy gap due to limited access to computers and training opportunities.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
The symposium concluded with several recommendations, including:<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u2022Organizing awareness campaigns targeting all segments of society to emphasize the importance of digital literacy and its role in improving job opportunities.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u2022Providing free or low-cost training courses, with a focus on groups such as homemakers and the unemployed.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u2022Enhancing internet services to ensure high-quality access at affordable costs.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u2022Incorporating computer-related subjects into educational curricula starting from primary school.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
\u2022Establishing partnerships with technology companies to provide necessary devices and professional training.<\/strong><\/h6>\n
