Under the patronage of Prof. Baha Ibrahim Ensaf, President of the University of Baghdad, and with the presence of the Dean of the College, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, a seminar was held for the college students in the Grand Discussion Hall under the title \u201cIslam and Sports for All\u201d as part of a series of educational seminars highlighting the importance of practicing sports. The lecture was delivered by the President of the Iraqi Federation of Sports, Prof. Abdulaziz Naif.<\/h6>\n
The seminar focused on introducing the concept of sports and its benefits, emphasizing the transition of individuals from being mere spectators and listeners to active participants in sports activities, tailored to their gender and abilities, to embody the philosophy of sports.<\/h6>\n
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of sports in society by achieving health, psychological, physical, and recreational goals, as well as enhancing skills\u00a0acquisition.<\/h6>\n
This seminar aligns with several SDGs, including: Goal 3: Good health and well-being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 5: Quality Education.<\/h6>\n
