Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, the Asian training course for category (A), organized by the Iraqi Football Association\/Technical and Development Committee under the supervision of the Asian Football Confederation, concluded at the sports fields of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad.<\/p>\n

The course, which included 24 participating coaches, was led by the certified Asian lecturer and faculty member Dr. Wissam Najeeb Esliwah. The course consists of two parts, with the first part concluding on November 18, 2024, and the second part scheduled to commence on February 1, 2025.<\/p>\n

The first part of the course included assignments for coaches at their respective clubs, along with monitoring and periodic meetings with them throughout the previous period. The lectures were diverse, involving a distinguished group of specialists in goalkeeping training, football analysis, sports media, sports physiology, sports psychology, sports injuries, nutrition, physical fitness, and the laws of the game.<\/p>\n
