The College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Baghdad hosted the discussion of a PhD dissertation by the student Saad Laibi Fahad Ali, titled: \u201cThe Role of Multiple Sports Media Outlets in Raising Security Awareness in Sports Stadiums from the Perspective of Stadium Security Management Personnel in Football.\u201d The examination committee included:<\/p>\n

The study aimed to develop two measurement scales\u2014Multiple Sports Media Outlets and Cultural Security Awareness\u2014to assess security awareness in football stadiums, from the perspective of the stadium security management personnel. The research sample included employees from the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the Iraqi National Olympic Committee. The researcher employed a descriptive research method based on correlational relationships, using a paper-based questionnaire as the research tool. The study population consisted of all personnel responsible for managing security in football stadiums within the mentioned institutions. The sample was selected comprehensively and included 592 individuals divided into three sub-samples: a pilot sample (10), a construction sample (300), and a primary application sample (282).<\/p>\n

Key Findings and Recommendations:<\/div>\n

1.Coordination Between Media and Security Personnel: Emphasize collaboration between stadium security managers and multiple sports media outlets to promote security education and awareness in football stadiums.<\/div>\n
2.Media Engagement: Encourage the inclusion of stadium security managers in sports programs and other platforms to clarify their roles and foster public cooperation for enhancing stadium security awareness.<\/div>\n
3.Educational Materials: Publish brochures or informative materials outlining the duties and roles of security personnel in managing football stadiums.<\/div>\n

The study highlighted how its findings align with the United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
