Under the supervision of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, and in the presence of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Suhail Najm, and the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amir Faisal Abdulameer, along with Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, faculty members, and students, the annual \u201cSecond International Road Race Marathon\u201d was held on the campus of the University of Baghdad on Monday, October 7, 2024, under the slogan \u201cWe Stand with Palestine and Lebanon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the marathon began, participants observed a moment of silence and recited Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine and Lebanon.<\/p>\n

At the end of the marathon, the winning students were honored by the President of the University of Baghdad. The students of the college participating in the race secured third place (both men and women).<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that this is the second marathon hosted by the University of Baghdad, witnessing wide international participation from Iraqi, Arab, and foreign universities.<\/p>\n
