In the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Na’im Al-Obaidi, and the presence of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Munir Hameed Al-Saadi, the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Prof. Sabah Qasim Khalef, the Director of the Department of Student Activities, Dr. Ali Sadeq Thiab, and Dr. Omar Falah Hassan, the Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, and the participation of representatives from 45 public and private universities, the Iraqi Universities Badminton Championship concluded on Thursday, November 9, 2023. The event took place at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Baghdad, and included the participation of both male and female students<\/p>\n

The final matches were played between the teams of the University of Kirkuk and the University of Babylon for male students, and between the teams of the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology for female students<\/p>\n

The final rankings for male students were as follows<\/p>\n

University of Kirkuk

\nUniversity of Alturath
\nThe final rankings for female students were as follows<\/p>\n

University of Baghdad
\nUniversity of Technology
\nUniversity of Karbala
\nAt the end of the championship, medals and trophies were awarded to the top three teams and their players by the university president, the college dean, and the director of the Department of Quality Assurance<\/p>\n
